It appears that the producer/editor who edited Dan Hannan’s interview for last night’s Newsnight, doesn’t know what Dan Hannan does for a living.
You would have thought that the producers would have know he was Britain’s most famous MEP, after all that’s why he was on the program. Admittedly he may have been speaking in his role as a leading Conservative blogger, but other well known elected officials who blog, such as Nadine Dorries or Frank Field, are normally identified on TV by the office they hold; not their method of communication.
Bad move Newsnight, better luck next time.
